New Year's

We were able to celebrate New Year's Eve this year with some good friends, Jennis & Justin Swainston & Family and Rhonda & Andy. There's always a good time to be had with this crowd. We started the night off with appetizers and meatball sandwiches and then played some rock band. From the time we started playing Kaden was enthralled with the drumsticks, he wanted them so badly. During a break Lucas got to have a turn on the drums and then to Kaden's delight I let him hold the sticks. He was so cute, he knew what to do and he just kept banging them on the drum pads. What a cute boy I have. :o)

The Swainston's decided to put their kids in bed about 11:00 so we headed outside for a few minutes to shoot some poppers and have a little New Year's Celebration. I think this is the first time in about 3 years we've stayed up until midnight!!

We finally put Kaden's crib up the other night and he was all smiley. He's done really well in it and it's nice to have our own room back!!!

So, when we got back from Utah for Christmas a pipe on our well had broken. We fixed it the day we returned to then find out our pump was broken. After replacing our pump (thanks to Andy, Justin and Matt's great help,) we discovered our hot water heater stopped working. We then got to replace the elements on our hot water heater and replace all the piping and such. Great fun to return home to. Don't worry, we're trying to stay positive. :o) We went to Rhonda and Andy's to take a shower and baths and this is a picture of Kaden loving the water. He kept kicking the drain and letting the water out, so I had to keep refilling it. He loves the bathtub!!!!
