In the middle of August our ward got split and there was a LOT of big changes made. At the beginning of the month I was called as the enrichment counselor in Relief Society... Crazy, I know. :o) I was feeling a little overwhelmed and completely inadequate, but through lots of prayers and scripture study, I now feel like this may be something I can do. Still crazy, but here goes nothing!!! So, my life has now been filled with lots of meetings and all sorts of fun stuff.
My mom came, and Erika started school, (I think I already blogged about those.) The 11th there was a Father's/Sons camp out and Kirk was super excited to take Kaden. They had lots of fun and Kaden did really well. Kirk got a few pictures of him, and apparently he's a pyro and loved the campfire. :o) And I got a full night of uninterrupted sleep, it was FABULOUS!
On the 13th I made the kids some popcorn as a snack after dinner and they were too cute eating it, I had to take some pictures. So, here they are feeding each other popcorn. (Like I said, nothing too exciting, but I thought they were stinkin cute!!!)
We had an amazing stake conference that weekend as well. Kirk then spent the next week in Bellvue for a work convention. He had lots of fun and won an award for Star City. CONGRATULATIONS BABE!!! He is so good at his job and he does amazing work. I am proud to say I am his wife. :o) Thanks for working so hard and supporting our family Sweetheart.
My dear friend Megan, is having a baby boy any day now and we were able to throw her a baby shower on the 22nd! She is super cute pregnant and I'm horrible and didn't get any good pictures. (Except of the beautiful cake Karen made.) Glad you're having a baby so we could have a party! :o) Hope you got a lot of the things you need.

It seems like a lot of people seem to be in a slump lately as far as blogging. It just seems like there's not a lot going on(for me at least)! Thanks for putting Something up for the rest of us to see and read!

wow You will be great at enrichment what a blessing for the sisters in your ward! I seriously miss you lately! Love the Father and Son nights!! I don't know what I'm gonna do if I have a girl! Anyway talk to you soon!
