Our California Adventures

So, I figured it was better late than never on our California Adventure.... Here are our pictures and little about what we did!!! (I think the pictures are out of order, but oh well!!! ha ha...) On the drive down the Depues were kind enough to let us stay at their home in Barstow the second night. It was sure fun to visit with them and be able to catch up on their lives. They were so gracious to have us in their home and we LOVED every minute. Although it was short lived, it was sure fun. We were able to get some pictures of Kirk's elementary school as well as the house he grew up in and enjoy some burritos from Plata's.

Sunday we were able to go to church in the ward Kirk grew up in. It was fun for him to see some people he knew. Then we headed over to Long Beach and picked my mom up from the airport. It rained on us a lot while there. But we still had so much fun. It was fun to spend some time with Grandma and it was fun to spend time as a family without all the other crazy chaos of life! :o) We did some shopping at the mall, rode the carousel, rode the Ferris wheel, walked down Huntington Beach Pier, went to Disneyland, watched movies, hung out and just had FUN!!!! It was such a great trip and the kids did so well in the car. I couldn't have asked for anything more. (Except maybe the sunshine we missed.....) Oh well!!!
