Easter 2011

We had a fun filled Easter this year! Of course the Easter Bunny came and brought some baskets of goodies for everyone. He also hid some eggs and candy around the house the kids had to find. We were able to spend the morning hanging out at home and Kirk only had Bishopric meeting instead of everything else as well! :o)

I was very impressed when I asked Erika before church the real reason for celebrating Easter. She knew exactly that it was because of Jesus Christ and that he was resurrected after 3 days! :o) I'm so grateful to know she actually listens to us as well as her church leaders when we are trying to teach her something. What a blessing for us all to know that He LIVES!

Erika of course got a new Easter dress and Kaden got a new sweater vest. He was hilarious and put it on backwards with his plaid shorts and new argyle socks. :o) Love that boy!

After church we were able to go over to our dear friend, Marilee's house for an Easter Egg hunt! Her son Joseph and his girlfriend, Tiffany filled too many eggs for just their kids, so they invited us over to join them! It was sure fun to hang out for awhile and enjoy their company. The kids had so much fun and they found some amazing goodies! Thank you Fry's!!!! We love you!

After the egg hunt, Rhonda, Andy and the girls came over for dinner. It was a great Easter! We are truly blessed with great family and friends! Hope yours were as fabulous as ours! :o)
