May Weekend Fun...

Kirk had to go down to Vancouver, WA for a parade a couple weekends ago. We were able to tag along and make a little mini vacation out of it. :o) We left on Friday afternoon and came home Saturday evening. It was lots of fun. We were able to go swimming, which yes is a rare occasion as the closest pool is 30 minutes away...

Mommy and Jocelyn - It was her first time swimming and she did really well. She sat on my lap and kicked her legs. She likes to splash in the water.

It was the kids and I off to the parade to wait for nearly 2 hours for it to get to us.... So, after they closed the road, yes... I let my children play ring around the rosies in the middle. :o)

It was a fun little weekend getaway, and the best part.... It was all paid for! :o) Wahoo!!!
