Fun Filled Weekend!!!

Wow, what a busy, but fun weekend!!! On Friday night Kirk's dad and his wife flew in from their mission in Texas for a quick visit because Jerri's daughter got married on Saturday. So, off to Tacoma we went for a late dinner with them. Famous Daves, mmmmm..... I love it! Their cornbread muffins are better than dessert!! So, it was a pretty late night on Friday.

Saturday Kirk had to be "Dollar Dog" in a parade in Ocean Shores. So, early Saturday morning we headed out to the ocean. It was pretty chilly!!! We watched the parade, which Kirk was in and Erika got boat loads of candy. We had older couples on either side of us so they weren't too interested in the candy and they had more fun watching Erika than the parade. Then we ate lunch and went to the beach for a quick dip. :o) Erika got a new bucket and shovel Friday night for filling up her potty chart. So we dug in the sand and then Aunt Rhonda, Erika and I headed into the water. We didn't go in too deep as it was pretty cold, about 56 degrees outside I think. But Erika had a blast playing in the water as our manly men, Kirk and Andy sat in the truck with Kaden. Wimps!!!!! Saturday night Erika got to play on her swing set with Grandpa and Grandma Jerri. She had talked about it for days, so it was her dream come true! :o)

Sunday of course was Father's Day and Kaden's blessing and another post will follow regarding those two special occasions. I had too many pictures to post I had to make a slide show instead. Hope you enjoy! :o)

What a fun weekend! How did Kirk get to be the Dollar Dog? Looks like fun! That is awesome that Kirk was able to bless Kaden on Father's Day. That probably was the best Father's Day ever! I love Kaden's little blessing outfit, he looks very handsome!
We are going to Oregon, July 9th through the 19th. I am not sure how far away you guys are, but I will definitely give you a call!

Dollar Dog?!? That must have been fun for Erika to see. I love parades with the kids. They are always so cute and LOVE all the treats. I'm jealous you are so close to the beach. I love it. I love all the pictures. You always do so many fun things.
