Kirk had to go down to Vancouver, WA last week for a business trip and we were able to tag along! We left on Tuesday morning and came home on Friday. It was a fun little get away. Kirk only had to work about 5 hours every day so we got to spend a lot of time together. There was a little park about a block away that had a great playground. It also had a little play area where the water was about 3 inches deep and in places it sprayed up a couple feet. Erika loved it!! Some of our friends we met while in Idaho, Matt and Maria Thueson, live about 45 minutes from Vancouver so they came down on Wednesday to play. We had such a good time.
I didn't realize how hard it would be to keep two kids happy in such a confined space, such as a hotel room. We were very thankful for the park, it was a blessing! The picture of Kaden in the sunglasses is at Build-A-Bear. They actually fit him perfectly and it was very cute! Erika told me she was doing Gymnastics while hanging on the bar at the park. She loved watching them in the Olympics, I think we may have look into that next year. She also took the picture of Kaden and me in the park. Anyway, thanks for letting us tag along Daddy! We sure love you!!!

I sure hope that Curtis will have lots of "business trips" that we can tag along on. It is a great excuse to get away. Fun pictures and I am impressed at Erika's photography skills!
We love going on trips with Dad. It looks like you had a lot of fun. It looks like you may have had some fall weather, shorts with sweatshirts.
That is wonderful you were able to go with him. There is nothing like a little family vacation, even if it is for business. Looks like you had a good time.
Fun! I love all the pictures you took - Kaden in the sunglasses is too cute, and the one where Erika is sitting on the rock with the rainbow behind her...adorable! That looks like an awesome water fountain - glad you had such a good time!
