Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!!

We got our first snow of the season up here in the Northwest. (Possibly our last as well.) It was a first for Kaden and as we came home from our ward Christmas party it was so beautiful! Kaden loved standing outside in it. I kept trying to bundle his blanket around him, but that obviously didn't work too well. Erika remembers catching snow in her mouth from last year. She was so excited. She couldn't see the snow out the side windows in the car and she kept asking, "Is it still snowing?" Once we got to the "bumpy" road we let her get out of her buckle and she got to see the snow out the windshield. She was ecstatic!!! :o)

Last night we opened Christmas presents with Aunt Rhonda, Uncle Andy and Uncle Matt since we're leaving on Wednesday. Erika got a wheelbarrel, a computer, shoes and a painting canvas. She is definitely spoiled!!! And Kaden got his very own tool set, an outfit and the cutest shoes ever. Thanks Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Andy!!! We got some pretty cool stuff as well, I'm very excited for our .22 target, now we'll have to go shooting more often!!

Erika is not very good at keeping secrets this year. Last Saturday we went shopping and she headed off with Kirk. A couple hours later on the way home Kirk thought he was out of the woods, when Erika says, "Mom, do you like gray?" "Yes," I replied. "Good," she says, "we got you a gray jacket." ha ha ha... It was so funny. Then last night she told Rhonda how we got her a scrapbook and paper to put in it and all this cool stuff. So, thanks Erika!!!! Needless to say, we're not telling her ANYTHING anymore.

Don't worry, it gets better. Kim couldn't keep a secret to save her life last year. This year she is pretty good at it, but has given a few things away with her "whispers" which aren't really all that quiet! It's fun when they really understand surprises and and want to help get them ready. Merry Christmas!

How cute! My girls can finally keep secrets this year...I think, there's still time before Christmas. Jill, I've got a .22 as well! It's what I shot as a kid. I don't shoot it anymore...too much trouble to clean it afterwards.

How fun to have it snow up there. I think it is preparing you for your trip to Utah! We can't wait to see you guys.

Erika is a doll. Now she can take the trash out for you everyday with her wheelbarrow. You can't tell kids anything. They always spill the beans. Doug knows everything he is getting for Christmas because Danika just couldn't what to tell him. You have to love those kids!!!

So cute. It's snowing like crazy here so it looks like we will have a white Christmas...yay! So as for Erika, that is hilarious. I remember one year Robbie told me every gift I was getting. I was ticked but it's more funny when a little kid does it. LOL!

I can't tell Jaden anything either. For the last couple years I either hide stuff or tell him little lies about who the presents are for! Hope you had a wonderful christmas!!!
