Garbage Night....

We have a weekly ritual at our house.... It's called, GARBAGE NIGHT!!!! :o) As soon as Dad says those oh so magical words the kids get so excited! "Dad, are we ready yet? Is it time yet? Garbage out Daddy?" These are the words we hear for the next 20 minutes until the fridge is cleaned out and all the garbage cans are empty. They LOVE it!! Why is that? So every week when Dad says those words I just have to sit and giggle to myself. I don't know if it's because it's their special thing they do every week with Dad, or what it is about Garbage Night that makes it so exciting. But I'm sure grateful that something so simple can make those two little kids so happy. As they get their jackets and rain boots on to tromp down our driveway for an eight minute walk at Kaden's pace. :o) They make me smile and I'm grateful for the small and simple things in life! So grateful for those kids and Kirk, they are my WORLD!!!
