Halloween

The kids had a busy Halloween season this year! Friday we went down to Daddy's work and got to trick or treat around their building. Grandma Polly had a special treat for them and everyone else filled up their treat buckets!!! The girls downstairs always decorate like crazy, hence the TwinStar Cemetery. :o) Kaden wasn't quite sure about that.

Saturday we got to go to the church for a trick or treating party. They had some fun little games and people decorated different rooms. It was a little crazy but the kids had fun. Then Sunday we were able to have Rhonda and Andy over for dinner and then go trick or treating to some family in the area. Andy's mom made this FABULOUS gingerbread cake with lemon sauce.... MMMM.... Needless to say, they got lots of candy and we had lots of fun! Hope your Halloween was fun filled as well!

That's a good idea; the different rooms in the church! My mom used to make a gingerbread cake with lemon sauce. She used to call it "hard sauce". (I don't know why;l is it hard to make, or does it turn hard if you don't eat it, or what?) I hadn't thought of that in years. I miss having a family to bake for, because I love that stuff and I'd eat it all by myself if I made it! I also like your fireworks sparkly photo transitioner!
